There's something backward in the relationship between the Multiple Add dialog and the iSight window. Take this scenario for example:
1. Click Edit | Add Multiple Books...
2. Click iSight.
3. Add some books.
4. Decide you're done adding books. Try to get back to where you were.
Since I perceive the iSight window to be a child of the Multiple Add dialog, my instinct is to close iSight first and then close Multiple Add. It can't be done. If I try to close iSight first, I get a system beep indicating I made a mistake. I scratch my head, try command-w... nothing. The iSight window can't be closed. Beyond that, most of the menu options are grayed out, so I really can't do anything in this position except add books. I can't even quit.
I kill -9'd Bookpedia 4 times before I found a better solution:
1. Click Edit | Add Multiple Books...
2. Click iSight.
3. Add some books.
4. Decide you're done adding books. Try to get back to where you were.
5. Close the Multiple Add dialog.
6. Close the iSight window. (This time it closes properly.)
7. The Multiple Add dialog reappears automatically. Close it again.
Now you're back to the Bookpedia main window and everything is back to normal.
If I'm missing something, I'd be grateful if someone would explain what.
