Sorting Titles Starting with "The"

In many years of Pedia use, I've never before noticed hiccups in how the apps sort titles beginning with "The". But I just added a bunch of books, and some are correctly sorted on the next word, and some are not. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I have never had trouble with sorting when it comes the prefix 'The'. My pedia's have always ignored the word. Try the following sort ability:
Click on the column headers in the following order for sort by Author: (my preference)
Volume
Series
Author

OR for sort by Title:

Volume
Series
Title
