Hello, everybody.
I'm a very interested in buying Bookpedia.
I'm a booxter user ... but your pocketpedia ... I need it ... so
• I really want to connect and ask for Book at the Bibliotheque Nationale de France : BNF
I found this but what to do with those informations : http://targettest.indexdata.com/full.ht ... 211%2FTOUT
Can we add it ? Amazon, alapage ..yes but it's not enough
• Oh ! one more question, can we imagine a way to managing sells and publishing it directly online, ebay or something else like in the software Bdgest (PC) http://www.bdgest.com/presentation.php
We haven't been able to get The French National Library to work with our z39.50 client even though it list all the format (marc) we support and the search type (1016). We want to upgrade the whole z39.50 interface as well as the client and that might get The French National Library working, but we are concentrating on Pocketpedia and other request first, so there is no due date for that.
Integration with online sales we only have basic Amazon listing but will keep eBay in mind when we expand those abilities.
Thank you for the feedback, lets us know what would make Bookpedia a viable solution for you.
I bought bookpedia for the only purpose to manage my comic books list on my ipod and I must say that datas returned from Amazon are not really accurate to say the least...BDGest is the biggest and the most accurate specialised database for French/Belgian Comic books I'm aware of...shame that tool is privately owned.
I would really love to be able to add a more accurate database than amazon on my bookpedia.
Is there a list of available servers somewhere to add to bookpedia?
We don't have a comic database specific plug-in for Bookpedia. If you have programming knowledge you could build one for any site including bdgest.com (if it is for personal use). Here is the plug-ins blank sample Bookpedia plug-in that requires Xcode to build, here is post about setting it up; replace DVDpedia with Bookpedia in the instructions.
